Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) is the humane and effective way to manage community cat populations. Cats are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, ear-tipped for identification, and returned to the outdoor home they know.

Caretakers schedule TNR appointments. Cats are humanely trapped, taken to the clinic to be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ear-tipped, and then returned, once fully recovered, to the exact place they came from.

Once fixed, cats can no longer reproduce, and behaviors such as fighting and roaming often decrease. Over time, the colony can stabilize instead of continuing to grow. Caretakers monitor the cats, identify newcomers that need TNVR, and provide ongoing care.
